Privacy Policy

Overview

DailyStepsPro (“the App”) is developed by Teqners. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.

In short: DailyStepsPro does not collect, store, or share any personal data. All your data stays on your device, including all AI processing.

Data Access

Artificial Intelligence Features

DailyStepsPro includes AI-powered features: AI Coach (a conversational step coach), AI Insights, AI Summary, and Smart Goal recommendations.

These features do not use any third-party AI service. No data is ever sent to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other external AI provider, and no data is sent to Teqners.

What powers them

All AI features run exclusively on Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework, part of Apple Intelligence. The AI model runs locally on your device.

What data is used

Your step counts, daily step goal, progress percentage, and recent activity history (7-day and 30-day summaries) are provided as context to the on-device model so it can give relevant coaching. When you type a message to the AI Coach, that message is also processed by the on-device model.

Where it goes

Nowhere. Because processing happens entirely on your device, this information never leaves your device, is never transmitted over a network, and is never seen by Teqners or any third party.

Availability

These features require a device that supports Apple Intelligence. On devices that do not support it, the AI features are unavailable and no AI processing occurs. All other App features work normally.

Data Collection

DailyStepsPro does not collect any data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No crash reports sent to external services
• No data is transmitted to any server — the App contains no networking code and makes no network requests
• No third-party SDKs, AI services, or advertising frameworks are used

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device and is never backed up to any external server controlled by Teqners:

• Preferences (such as your daily step goal) are stored locally using standard iOS storage.
• AI Coach conversations are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, so you can revisit past chats. These conversations never leave your device. You can start a new chat at any time, and deleting the App removes all stored conversations.

This data is not accessible to anyone other than you.

Third-Party Services

DailyStepsPro does not use any third-party services, AI providers, analytics, or advertising frameworks. The only integrations are with Apple's own first-party, on-device frameworks — Apple Health (HealthKit), Core Motion, and Apple's on-device Foundation Models — all governed by Apple's own privacy policies. Because no data is shared with any third party, there is no third-party data handling to disclose.

Children's Privacy

DailyStepsPro does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
